Since we purchased our Adirondack retreat in 2010, we have taken great pride in slowly transforming it into something special. Our first renovation was gutting our 1970s full bath downstairs and replacing it with all new fixtures and knotty pine walls and ceiling. Next up was our Great Room. The dark paneling was replaced with knotty pine and a new quad pane slider  -- with new window above --  bought the lake experience all the more closer.

We went down to the studs and redesigned our kitchen to maximize space, adding all new windows, hard wood floor and appliances. The gourmet cooks in your group can run wild. We continue to make improvements each year.

  • Welcome to TreeTops – our vacation home in the beautiful Adirondack town of Schroon Lake.  TreeTops sits on the west side of the lake, about 2 miles south of downtown Schroon.  Watch each day start with the sunrise from our balconies and decks.

  • TreeTops is a two story, four bedroom, two full bathroom home, which comfortably sleeps ten (Two queens/one king/four bunk beds). The home boasts fabulous views of the lake and Mount Pharaoh. Schroon Lake is visible from every room in the house.

  • There is a 30-foot dock, a swim platform and boat mooring. Above the dock is a small deck with benches. To the right of the dock is a small sandy beach with a gradual descent into the lake.

  • The dining room table seats ten. Three can sit at the kitchen counter. There are dining tables on our upper screened porch and side deck, each with stunning views.

  • The grassy side yard looks over the lake and with its hammock and Adirondack chairs, is a great place to spend a lazy afternoon. Between the decks, porches, yard and dock, there are plenty of places at TreeTops to enjoy outdoor cocktails and dining.

  • Picture yourself barbecuing on the north deck, in the treetops, overlooking the lake.  The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to cook wonderful meals.  Downstairs is a full laundry with washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. The house is equipped with fast internet service and Time Warner cable TV, along with a DVD player and stereo box, with the ability to plug in your iPod, Smartphone and Android devices to access you music library.

  • Treetops is just minutes away from the shops, supermarket, restaurants, cinema, pharmacy, medical center, library, liquor store, Town Park,  Boathouse performance space, Seagle Music Colony, Town Beach, tennis and basketball courts.
